The importance of protecting my customers and myself is paramount. To this end, I have undertaken a training course on Infection Protection and Control to help ensure a safe working environment for all - wherever I am working. (See accreditation certificate below.)
Infection Control Policy and Procedure
Prior to Covid-19, I worked with strict adherence to safety procedures - which protect me as well as you and your property. For example, as a matter of course, I use appropriate sheeting to protect floors and carpets - and dust control measures are standard, as are a fresh p3 dust mask and gloves for every job.
Now, enhanced protection is in place:
● When booking an appointment, I will ask you to confirm that every member of your household has been free of coronavirus symptoms for at least 7 days and that no-one is self-isolating. I will confirm the same for my own household. ● Please ensure that the route to your chimney/fireplace is clear and there is adequate space for me to work. ● Please ventilate the room(s) with open windows, where possible, prior to my visit. ● I will enter your property wearing a mask and gloves which will remain on for the duration of the visit. ● I will observe recommended social distancing and request that you remain in another room during the sweeping process. ● A clean sheet will be placed on your floor/carpet. ● On completion of the work, I will, as usual, issue a certificate. Please use your own pen to sign it. ● Finally, I will remove and dispose of my own gloves and apply hand sanitiser
